About CA Foundation
CA Foundation 2020: CA Foundation exam is an entry-level exam for students interested to pursue a career in Chartered Accountancy. CA Foundation Exam is conducted by the Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) twice a year. It is a national level exam which comprises four papers.
What Is CA Foundation?
Chartered Accountant (CA) Foundation is the entry-level Chartered Accountancy Course. In order to become a CA, the candidate will have to clear three stages of CA selection process namely CA Foundation, CA Intermediate and CA Final. Among these three stages, CA Foundation is the first stage to become a chartered accountant.
Candidates aspiring to become a Chartered Accountant after 10+ 2 can register and appear for the CA Foundation entrance exam. In order to register for CA Foundation candidates must have passed 10+ 2. However, candidates who have completed their graduation or Post graduation will not be eligible for CA Foundation exam. Besides that, candidates who have cleared the Intermediate levels of ICSI or ICMAI will also not be eligible for CA Foundation course.
