Being a CA/CA aspirant, what will you choose between CA practice or a job, and why
Being a CA aspirant, I want to go for
a job as I like stress free life where I don't have to tense
much about my clientelle, etc. I like the message of crediting some XXX amount
on 1st day of every month in my bank account.
Now, many people may think or judge me
like I don't have the guts to take risk or I wanted to work like slave. But let
me tell you there is no harm in any option. It totally depends on the goals of
your life. Remember, leader is not a leader unless he has the good followers.
But to decide between both, I want to put
down some factors which might help others to decide:
Practice:
1. You
have to take a big risk. If your practice does not work, then you
will have to find a job and then you will be somewhat considered equivalent to
fresher. Means you might become too behind your peers. But if it works, then in
long term you will earn much more than what even your peers might not think of.
2. You
are the owner of your own. You will not get to listen your boss
daily arguments and you do not have to work like slave.
3. Initial
investment. Since initially, you don't have much clientelle, you have to
spend even for operating expenses from your pocket.
4. Networking is
much important to get the clients in practice.
5. All
time stress particularly initially that whether practice works
or not.
6. Support of
family and friends is much required at this particular point of time
Job:
1. You
will not have any tensions about uncertainty of income. You will
get your salary on the very 1st day of month.
2. You
get the opportunities for travel for free for work related
purposes.
3. You
have to stand on your toes to impress your boss for promotions and
then came office politics also in picture.
Since I am not much
experienced about this topic, so I have just penned down my thoughts.
Hope
it helps!!
